Germaine is the sole member of the firm, having started her own CPA practice in 1997 after 9 years on the audit staff of Coopers & Lybrand and 10 years as CFO/Controller for a Chicago area distribution business. Her practice has focused on providing accounting, controllership, business consulting and tax services to small businesses and individuals, with a focus on start-up businesses, not-for-profit entities and professional service firms.  Germaine provides her clients with business and accounting guidance by combining a strong technical background with years of practical “in service” experience so that they can effectively manage their businesses and comply with financial requirements with strong financial systems.

Germaine graduated with high honors from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accountancy.  She is a licensed CPA in Illinois and a member of the Illinois CPA Society, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA Tax and Personal Finance sections.

 A life long resident of the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills area, Germaine has been active as an officer in various community, church and school based organizations and a director of several business entities.

Ann has been associated with the firm since 2016. During that time period she has had extensive experience in addressing various accounting issues and problem solving for clients over a wide spectrum of industries, including a diverse range of non-profit entities. Duties have included financial statement preparation, set up and conversion of accounting systems and all general accounting/controller functions.  She is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois.
